Our Team

Mathnasium, Business Bay, has an experienced team of teachers well-trained to give the students personalised structured lessons based on the Mathnasium curriculum that teaches from the ground up, from core concepts to more complex ones. We make sure that the students are given equal amounts of encouragement and challenge to help get better in Math. The parents can also be sure to be updated of their child's progress on a regular basis. Come meet our team! 

Mary Rose Lelis- Chua, Center Director 

Mary is the Center Director of Mathnasium in Business Bay and Jumeirah. She is from the Philippines and received a Bachelor of Secondary Education in Mathematics at Philippine Normal University, Manila. What she enjoys most about working in Mathnasium is how the program is structured in a way that boosts confidence of the students. She loves teaching 'The Mathnasium Method' because it helps her students understand Math concepts better. She has seen amazing results from students- once they start at Mathnasium. For her, it is about the way in which you deliever Math to students to allow them to love it rather than knowing all the skills and concepts. She joined Mathnasium, Jumeirah eight years ago as a Math Instructor which she is still doing to this day, apart from being a Center Director as well. After a year of teaching, Mary became the Lead Instructor of Mathnasium Jumeirah and Business Bay branch five years ago. During her spare time, she likes to spend time outdoors with people she loves.

Alma Joy Prades, Assistant Center Director 

Alma is the Assistant Center Director of Mathnasium in Business Bay, Dubai. She is from the Philippines and received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Philippine Normal University, Manila. Working in Mathnasium gives her a wider perspective in her teaching abilities, being able to handle students in different levels and different school curriculums. It is a continous learning experience for Alma. Her passion is teaching, and she loves to learn new skills that she can share with her students. She started her journey with Mathnasium in 2017 as an Instructor at Mathnasium, Jumeirah before becoming an Assistant Center Director of Mathnasium, Business Bay. During her spare time, she enjoys listening to music and watching romantic TV series and comedy movies. 

Gopika G Nair, Instructor

Gopika is an Instructor at Mathnasium, both for Jumeirah and Business Bay. She is from India and did her Master's in Math from the Madras University in Tamil Nadu. She finds the concept of team very interesting in Mathnasium. Math is always a fun challenge for her and being a part of Mathnasium helps her deal with her challenges every day. During her spare time she likes to read books.
